Mr. Brolsma graduated from the University of Redlands with a degree in History. He earned his social studies teaching credential in 1994. He has been teaching for over 15 years. He is also the site coordinator for the Barstow resource center.
Mr. Cammack has been teaching for 17 years. He has been a biology teacher for 15 and has worked at Mojave River Academy for the past 2 years. He graduated from SUU as a biologist where he did field work with endangered prarie dogs. He is also a published poet.

Mr. Redmond is beginning his teaching career this year with Mojave River Academy. He was the math tutor for the Victorville site last year and will be working in Barstow this year. He is completeing his credential in biology at Western Governor University. He loves playing and watching all sports especially basketball and golf.

Mr. Proctor is a teacher at the Barstow Resource Center. He currently holds a single subject teaching credential in mathematics from Claifornia State University Fullerton, where he also earned his Bachelors' Degree in mathematics. He is currently working on obtaining his Masters in Education from Pioneer University. This is his first year teaching at Mojave River Academy. He has taught at Riverside Prep in Oro Grande, Loara High School in Anaheim and El Dorado High School in Placentia.

Ms. Redmond has taught 3 years at Mojave River Academy. She recieved her BS Degree in Kinesiology through Cal State University at San Bernardion. She received her single subject teaching credential in Physical Education through National University. She is currently working on her Master's Degree through Nation University as well. She is married and enjoys sports, bike riding and hanging out with her family.
Mrs. Christy Ellis is a single-subject credentialed mathematics teacher for Mojave River Academy at the Barstow site. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics with an emphasis in Secondary Education from BIOLA University. She participated in the Torrey Honors Program at BIOLA University, which is an integrated approach to education through reading classical literature. This is her fourth year teaching with the previous two years spent at Riverside Preparatory Charter School. She began her teaching career at Lucerne Valley High School and previously spent numerous years tutoring students. She is a CIF certified coach and has coached Middle School Volleyball for three consecutive years. She deems it a great privilege and joy to be a teacher and a coach.
Ms. Opseth attended Cal State San Bernardino and Chapman University. She is working on her multiple subject credential. She is beginning her teaching career with Mojave River Academy and loves scrapbooking. |
